Christmas Mini Sessions 2025 – Little Sutton & Chester

December flies by so quickly — parties, shopping, school events, a thousand things on your to-do list. These mini sessions are your 30 minutes to stop, cuddle up and capture the way your family really is this Christmas: the giggles, the squishy hugs and the way your children’s eyes light up when they see the twinkling lights.

     I’ll gently guide you through simple poses and little games, so you don’t have to worry about what to do with your hands or how to make the kids smile. You just show up — I’ll take care of the rest.

My Christmas Mini Sessions are relaxed, cosy and child-friendly. No stressful “say cheese” marathons — just genuine smiles, cuddles and a little Christmas magic.

How it works – simple & stress-free

1. Choose your date & time
Pick one of the available time slots below that works best for your family.

2. Secure your spot
Fill in the booking form and pay a £20 booking fee (non-refundable). Your session is now reserved.

3. Come ready to enjoy
On the day, arrive a few minutes early, already dressed and ready. I’ll guide you through natural poses and little games so the kids (and grown-ups!) feel relaxed.

4. View your proof gallery & choose your favourites
Within about 1–2 days after your session you’ll receive a private online proof gallery with a selection of images from your mini session.
This gallery is view-only and is designed for you to choose your favourite photographs according to the collection you’ve booked (and any extras you’d like to add).

5. Receive your finished images
Once you’ve selected your favourites, I carefully edit and retouch those images.
Within about 1–2 weeks after your selection, you’ll receive a second, final online gallery with your finished images — here you can view them, download the high-resolution files and order prints or wall art if you wish.

Setups / backdrops

This year I’ve created two cosy Christmas scenes in the studio:

• Cozy Fireplace – warm, classic and homely, perfect for snuggly family portraits.

• Snowy Magic – light, dreamy and full of twinkling lights, like stepping into a winter fairy tale.

Each mini session uses one beautifully styled Christmas set that’s ready and waiting when you arrive.

The Premium Collection includes enough time for both backdrops, giving you even more variety and a bigger gallery to choose from.

Who are these sessions for?

• Babies who can sit with support (or in parents’ arms)

• Up to 5 people from one household per session

If your baby cannot sit independently yet, we’ll create beautiful images while you hold them.

Why book with me?

• Relaxed, child-friendly approach – I’ll never ask your children to “stand still and smile at the camera” for 30 minutes. Instead, we play little games, chat and move, so their smiles are genuine.

• Guided posing for everyone – Most people don’t feel comfortable in front of a camera. I’ll guide you with simple prompts, show what to do with your hands and help you look natural and confident.

• Beautiful, timeless editing – I keep colours warm and classic, so your images will still look beautiful in 5–10 years, not just this Christmas.

• Fast proof gallery & realistic editing times – Your proof gallery (for choosing your favourites) is usually ready within 1–2 days after your session, so you don’t have to wait long to see your images. Once you’ve made your selection, I take up to 1–2 weeks to carefully retouch your chosen photographs. This way you receive your finished images in good time to enjoy them over the Christmas holidays, especially if you make your selection soon after your session.

What to wear & how to prepare

• Outfits: Christmas pyjamas, cosy knit jumpers, simple party dresses or shirts all work beautifully. Try to avoid big logos and neon colours.

• Colours: Deep greens, reds, creams and browns work perfectly with both backdrops. Soft neutrals also look lovely.

• Little ones: Please make sure children are fed and rested before the session. Choose a time that isn’t too close to nap time.

• Shoes: We may ask you to take shoes off in the studio, so bring nice socks or bare feet for the kids.

• One outfit change: If you’d like both “smart” and “cosy” looks (for example, party clothes and pyjamas), there’s usually enough time for a quick change in Mini and Classic sessions. For Premium sessions, there’s even more flexibility.

Premium Collection – £245

The most complete Christmas experience with more time, two backdrops and a larger set of images.

• Up to 60-minute Christmas session

• Two different Christmas setups (Cozy Fireplace + Snowy Magic)

• Up to 5 people from one household

• Private online proof gallery with a wider selection (around 50–60 images to view and choose from)

• 25 edited digital images of your choice

• 5 printed photos 8×6"

• Final downloadable gallery with your finished images

• Additional edited images available at £10 per image

• Option to purchase the full gallery for an additional £130

Payment & terms

• £20 booking fee – required to secure your time slot. This fee is non-refundable.

• The remaining balance is due on the day of your session (cash / bank transfer).

• Raw and unedited images are not included and are not available for purchase.

• Sessions are for up to 5 people from one household.

• One family per booking, please. If you’d like cousins to join, please book two back-to-back sessions.

• If you are late, your session time may be shortened to avoid delays for the next families.

Christmas Minis run on just three dates this December:
6, 13 and 14 December 2025.

Once the time slots are gone, that’s it until next year.
